A.1 Accelerator Keys


Accelerator Keys Used by STGuru

 

File/Windows

Ctrl+N New Open a new instance of STGuru
Ctrl+O Open Open a file into current edit area
Ctrl+S Save Save modification to the file in the current edit area
Ctrl+P Properties View properties of the file in the current edit area
F5 Preview (Default) Open current document by default program related to its file type
Ctrl+F5 Preview (Custom Program) Open current document by a user specified program
Alt+F4 Exit Exit from current instance of STGuru

 

Edit

Ctrl+Z Undo/Redo Undo/Redo the last edit operation in current edit area. Undo the last operation if there is one. If the last operation was just undone, this command will redo it
Ctrl+X Cut Cut off selected text in current edit area and put it into the clipboard
Ctrl+C Copy Copy selected contents and put it into the clipboard
Ctrl+V Paste Paste text from the clipboard into insertion point in current edit area
Del Delete Delete selected text in current edit area
Ctrl+A Select All Select and highlight all text in current edit area
Ctrl+F Find/Replace Find/replace specified text in current edit area

 

View (Layout)

Ctrl+1 Show/Hide Upper Edit Area Switch show/hide status for upper edit area
Ctrl+2 Show/Hide Lower Edit Area Switch show/hide status for lower edit area
Ctrl+L Adjust Edit Area Proportion Open the "Proportion Between Edit Areas" dialog box. You can adjust the proportion swiftly and precisely with the Up/Down arrow keys and the Page Up/Page Down keys on your keyboard. When you are satisfied, press the "Return" key to confirm, or you can press the "Esc" key to cancel.
Ctrl+Up Arrow Up-down placement The two edit areas are placed up and down.
Ctrl+Left Arrow Left-right placement The two edit areas are placed left and right.
Ctrl+T Always on Top Set or cancel always on top status

Ctrl+Q Edit Area Conversion Open the "Edit Area Conversion" panel
Ctrl+J Clipboard Conversion Open the "Clipboard Conversion" panel
Ctrl+W File/Web Page/Directory/Site Conversion Open the "File/Web Page/Directory/Site Conversion" dialog box
Ctrl+Shift+B File/Folder Batch Conversion Open the "File/Folder Batch Conversion" dialog box
Ctrl+B Edit Area Conversion: GBK -> Big5 Convert text in upper edit area from Simplified Chinese (GBK) to Traditional Chinese (Big5)
Ctrl+G Edit Area Conversion: Big5 -> GBK Convert text in upper edit area from Traditional Chinese (Big5) to Simplified Chinese (GBK)

Convert text in upper edit area from GBK "Simplified Chinese" to GBK "Traditional Chinese"

Convert text in upper edit area from GBK "Traditional Chinese" to GBK "Simplified Chinese"
Ctrl+Shift+S Selection/all text in the upper edit area -> Unicode in clipboard. If there is something selected in the upper edit area, the selected text will be converted. If no text is selected, all text in the upper edit area will be converted. The conversion result will be put into clipboard.
Ctrl+Shift+D Selection/all text in lower edition area -> Unicode in clipboard. If there is something selected in lower edit area, the selected text will be converted. If no text is selected, all text in lower edit area will be converted. The conversion result will be put into clipboard.
Ctrl+Shift+I Clipboard Conversion: Unicode Traditional Chinese -> Unicode Simplified Chinese Convert the Traditional Chinese text in Unicode format in the clipboard to Simplified Chinese text in Unicode format. The result will overwrite the original text in the clipboard. The key value "I" in this shortcut means the "I" in I/O.
Ctrl+Shift+O Clipboard Conversion: Unicode Simplified Chinese -> Unicode Traditional Chinese Convert the Simplified Chinese text in Unicode format in the clipboard to Traditional Chinese text in Unicode format. The result will overwrite the original text in the clipboard. The key value "O" in this shortcut means the "O" in I/O.
Ctrl+Shift+U Clipboard Conversion:
ANSI (Upper Area Language) -> Unicode
Clipboard Conversion: ANSI to Unicode. The ANSI text will be seemed as in the language of the upper edit area.
Ctrl+Shift+C Clipboard Conversion:
ANSI (Lower Area Language) -> Unicode
Clipboard Conversion: ANSI to Unicode. The ANSI text will be seemed as in the language of the lower edit area.
Ctrl+Shift+A Clipboard Conversion:
Unicode-> ANSI (Upper Area Language)
Clipboard Conversion:
Unicode-> ANSI (Upper Area Language)
Ctrl+Shift+N Unicode -> ANSI (Lower Area Language) Clipboard Conversion: Unicode to ANSI. The ANSI text will be seemed as in the language of the lower edit area.
